Sharn Campaign

Welcome to the Sharn Campaign!

This campaign is designed as a series of “pickup” games, requiring minimal commitment from the players.

My schedule is unpredictable, so I can’t run regular sessions. The plan is to enlist a stable of players, whom I can send invitations to when I am in a position to run a game. If I can get two or more players, we go ahead. The campaign will be designed to make it easy for characters to move in and out of the story, so that who shows up has no impact on continuity.

This is meant to be the sort of D&D you played in high school. That is, I am going to try to resist the urge to build detailed, internally consistent, character-driven plots in favour of making sure there is an adventure available to play in as often as possible.

It is also a fourth edition D&D game. If you don’t think you like 4e, I would encourage you to give it a whirl anyway, or at least talk to me about it. I may have found a way to mitigate the things you don’t like: my 4e games certainly don’t play like a boardgame. My house rules can be found here.
